Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moor is an Hollywood writer and actor who has been recognized for her talents. Sagittarius. She was born in North Carolina, on 3rd December, 1960. She's the oldest of children of Peter Moore Smith a paratrooper as well as Anne an undergraduate student in psychology. She has English as well as Scottish roots. Her father was an professional and moved her family a lot. It was a struggle to make and keeping friends. Moore started acting in play after she relocated with her family to Germany. After completing the requirements for her B.F.A. in Theater at Boston University in 1983, Moore continued her education. Moore graduated in 1983, with an B.F.A. Moore started her acting career off Broadway in New York, after she completed her degree. Moore made her debut on screen in 1985, with a scene of The Edge of Night. She played the roles as Sabrina Hughes and Frannie Hughes in As the World Changes the show that marked her debut. It was on up to 1988, and she won a Daytime Emmy Award for her performance. In 1990 she made her cinematic debut in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie which she later called a terrible low-budget film. Short Cuts was produced by Robert Altman in 1993 and 3 Women was released in 1997. The first was critically-acclaimed and Moore was nominated for several awards for the film. Moore landed her first leading role in Safe (1995). Steven Spielberg chose Moore to play the lead for Jurassic Park: The Lost World. The movie was one of the most popular films released in the year. In 1999, she received the SAG award for her role in Magnolia. The Hours, a 2002 film she costarred in with Nicole Kidman and Meryl Strreep was nominated for 9 Academy Awards. Moore was also in The Forgotten 2004, Freedomland, Shelter and Shelter 2010. Non-Stop was her film of 2014. Moore has appeared in numerous television and film series. Most recently, she starred in the role of the main character in You Finish Saving The World (2022). She has made her mark on the screen in Hollywood as well as being an author of children's books. She published her first book Freckleface Strawberry in 2007 and it became an N.Y.T. The book was a huge best selling book, then adapted to a television series along with a musical. Additionally, in 2013, Moore published My Mother Is a Stranger. Moore being a popular author and performer she has also made her private life known to the world. Moore married John Robin back in 1984 after which they divorced in the year 1996. Moore has two children and a son with Bart Freundlich whom she later was married to in 2003. Moore's life revolves around her families, work and friends.
